Vinx's music career spans five decades, from his drum band The Barking Feet to his hardcore band with Jungle Funk, sharing stages and studios with artists including Stevie Wonder, Cher, Sting, Herbie Hancock, Taj Mahal, Darius Rucker, Patrice Rushen, Omar and many, many others. His songs have been used in films (including The Lion King series), TV Shows (including Northern Exposure) and on TV advertisements (including Sprite). More Than a Songwriting Retreat…
The retreat includes workshops, rehearsals, hands on recording experiences in Vinx's studio, individual and group creativity and writing sessions, as well as live performance opportunities! Professionals come to work on their craft and novices learn from the best international teachers. While most bootcamps focus on the end product; we focus on the process and the person.
Vinx is a songwriting and musical visionary and an experienced mentor to hundresds of musicians and creatives. He developed core creative curricula for Berklee College of Music that enhanced students musical learning to help every musician become the best artists they can be. Join a group retreat with Vinx where you will be engaged in a transformative curriculum, that you do not find in books. It is designed to:
Break Creative Blocks: Learn unique, proven techniques with Vinx, to transition from writing "good" songs to "amazing" songs. Find your own deep creative flow and energy, connect with yourself and others and be inspired by your inner creativity and the space you are in.
